Call for Papers
The organizers of the 9th International Symposium on Marine Propulsors, smp’26, invite authors to submit technical papers describing the results of recent research on all aspects of marine propulsion. This may include numerical analysis, scaled model experiments or full-scale measurements.
Topics may include
Propulsion system performance
Hull-propeller interaction
Cavitation
Erosion on propellers and appendages
Propeller generated noise and vibration
Propeller-ice interaction
Propeller design optimization
Energy saving devices
Ducted propellers
Water jets
Vertical axis propellers
Azimuthing thrusters
Alternative propulsion devices (waves, wind, etc.)
Tidal turbines
Authors are kindly invited to submit their abstracts in pdf format by uploading them on the symposium website.
Each abstract text should be no longer than 300 – 500 words and must clearly indicate the objectives, contents and relevant results of the paper. The reviews will be conducted by members of the International Scientific Committee. After acceptance of the abstracts, the authors will be notified and invited to submit their full papers.
